there are instructions on one of the steps, that i don't understand and maybe you do. what's this mean:

"Start msys and use vi to edit /etc/fstab to include the line: C:/MinGW /mingw if it doesn't already exist,"

(i started msys. a yellow box with very hard to read text popped up. and that's all i knew what to do. what does it mean by "use vi to edit"? what's vi?
could you make that sentence into a statement i'm supposed to put in the yellow box?

nevermind. i figured it out. doh. text editor works just as well.

bash: mall: command not found

It went to the command line and after a few seconds gave me
Display all 3228 possibilites? (y or n)

do you have any idea what it means?

hrm, the 3228 was probably related to the fact i tried to copy it and hit the tab button after it did the bash thing

but what's bash: mall: command not found mean?
